ШАХМАТЫ: Турнир в честь Дня защиты детей. // CHESS: A tournament in honor of Children’s Day.
28 мая 2018 г. в Ялгинском детском доме-школе г.о. Саранск в третий раз прошел объединенный лично-командный турнир по шахматам среди воспитанников детских домов и интернатов Республики Мордовия и учащихся школ г.о. Саранск, посвященный Дню защиты детей.
В турнире выступило 37 юных шахматистов. Они представляли 9 школ г.о. Саранск. Кочкуровскую СОШ и три интернатских учреждения Республики Мордовия. Традиционно в соревнованиях приняла участие команда Саранской общеобразовательной школы-интерната для детей с нарушениями слуха. Но на этот раз в команде не было её лидера — Романовой Алсу, которая вместе с Евстифейкиным Владиславом и тремя ребятами из МОУ «Лицей №7» выехала во Всероссийский детский центр «Смена» г. Анапа для участия в программе «Большой шахматный турнир». 
Тем не менее, Макаревский Александр и Пронькина Александра смогли занять второе место в командном зачете среди интернатских учреждений. Победителями стали юные шахматисты Ялгинского детского дома-школы, а третье место у команды Инсарской школы-интерната для детей сирот и детей с ограниченными возможностями здоровья. В личном зачете среди воспитанников детских домов и интернатов Макаревский Александр выступил вполне удачно и стал третьим. 
По итогам турнира команды-победители и призеры турнира были награждены кубками и дипломами, а победителям и призерам соревнований в личном зачете вручены дипломы и медали. Каждый участник турнира получил подарок. В завершение мероприятия всех ребят ждал сладкий стол и совместное чаепитие.
Объединенный турнир был организован с целью повышения мастерства юных шахматистов интернатских учреждений, укрепления дружеских связей и проведен при поддержке Министерства образования Республики Мордовия и Департамента по социальной политике Администрации городского округа Саранск.

On May 28, 2018 in the Yalginsky children’s house school of the urban district Saransk for the third time there has taken place the integrated personal and command tournament on chess among pupils of orphanages and boarding schools of the Republic of Mordovia and pupils of schools of the urban district Saransk devoted to Children’s Day.
In a tournament 37 young chess players have acted. They represented 9 schools of the urban district Saransk. Kochkurovsky SOSh and three internatsky establishments of the Republic of Mordovia. Traditionally the team of the Saransk general education boarding school for children with a hearing disorder has participated in competitions. But this time in team there was no her leader — Romanova Alsou who together with Evstifeykin Vladislav and three children from municipal educational institution Lyceum No. 7 has left in the All-Russian children’s center «Smena» Anapa for participation in the Big Chess Tournament program. Nevertheless, Makarevsky Alexander and Pronkina Aleksandra could take the second place in a team competition among internatsky institutions. Young chess players of the Yalginsky children’s house school, and the third place at team of Insarsky boarding school for children of orphans and children with limited opportunities of health became winners. In personal offset among pupils of orphanages and boarding schools Makarevsky Alexander has acted quite successfully and became the third.
Following the results of a tournament winner teams and prize-winners of a tournament have been awarded with cups and diplomas, and winners and prize-winners of competitions in personal offset have been handed diplomas and medals. Each participant of a tournament has received a gift. In conclusion of an action all baby was expected by a sweet table and a joint tea drinking.
The integrated tournament has been organized for the purpose of increase in skill of young chess players of internatsky institutions, strengthening of friendly relations and is held with assistance of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Mordovia and Department on social policy of Administration of the city district Saransk.
